When Missions Align, Ministry Deepens
In early 2025, Cornerstone Wellness Center co-founders Matthew Caporossi and David Reece attended a Christ Church Ohio community event—seeking connection, inspiration, and alignment with others who shared their values. What they found was something far more impactful.
As they engaged in conversations with the leadership team at Christ Church, it quickly became clear: both organizations shared a deep commitment to care for the whole person—spirit, mind, and body. The leaders spoke about the emotional and spiritual needs of their congregation, and Matthew and David shared their vision for faith-integrated mental health services. That day, something clicked.
What began as a handshake and heartfelt conversation has since blossomed into a formal partnership. Christ Church Ohio now refers its members directly to Cornerstone Wellness Center for professional, compassionate, Christ-centered counseling. Together, they are offering a bridge between pastoral support and clinical care—walking beside individuals and families through every season of life.

Q1: Is this counseling service only available to Christ Church members?
A: No. While Christ Church members are given direct referral access and priority scheduling, Cornerstone Wellness Center welcomes all individuals and families seeking faith-integrated counseling.
Q2: Will my sessions be confidential, or will Christ Church be notified?
A: Your privacy is fully protected. All counseling sessions are HIPAA-compliant and 100% confidential. Nothing is shared with Christ Church leadership unless you provide explicit written consent.
Q3: Can you help with team conflict or Q3: Can my pastor and my therapist work together if I want them to?
A: Yes. With your written permission, we can collaborate with your pastor to ensure you receive aligned support—spiritually and emotionally—while maintaining the boundaries you’re comfortable with.
Q4: What kinds of issues can I come to counseling for?
A: We offer support for anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, family and marital challenges, stress, spiritual direction, life transitions, and more. You don’t need to have a “crisis” to benefit from counseling.
Q5: Is this counseling faith-based or clinical?
A: Yes. Individual counseling is completely confidential and follows all rooted in clinical best practices and, where welcomed, guided by Biblical values.

Christ Church referral?
A: Simply contact Christ Church’s Care Ministry team, or click the “Request Counseling” button below. A member of our team will follow up confidentially to match you with the right provider.
Q7: What does it cost?
A: We accept many insurance plans and offer sliding-scale options to ensure affordability. Let us know your needs—we’re here to work with you.
Q8: What if I’ve never been to counseling before?
A: That’s completely okay—and you’re not alone. Many people come to counseling for the first time through this partnership. Our team is here to meet you where you are, at your pace, with compassion and care. There’s no pressure, no judgment—just a safe space to talk, heal, and grow.
