Amanda Hill, LSW
Amanda Hill is a graduate from The Ohio State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work in 2020. She is currently continuing her education toward becoming a sign language interpreter to further expand her impact in counseling. She is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) who has experience supporting young children and adults through a wide range of life circumstances -including early stage motherhood, those in housing transitions, and incarceration.
In addition to providing talk therapy, Amanda has served as an advocate for individuals in assisted living facilities and nursing homes, ensuring they have access to the resources they need to thrive. Sessions are guided by research-backed modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy (SFT) to align with your individual goals.
Adults facing challenges with mental health diagnoses, addictions, grief, life transitions, or maladaptive behavior will benefit from Amanda’s compassionate approach that fosters vulnerability. Amanda’s person-centered nature assists in her ability to build strong rapport with adults and is a key part of her therapeutic style.
She has hands-on experience developing treatment plans, teaching skill building strategies, and intervening during mental health crises. In working with Amanda you’ll find a safe, welcoming space where you can feel heard, explore your feelings, gain insight, and take meaningful steps toward healing and well-being.
